What kind of food it serves in general
Burger King serves a large range of food items and beverages at low cost and quick turnover to people on the move. It offers all three meals of the day: breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. While the chain specializes in burgers, King Burger’s other famous items include salads, chicken sandwiches, shakes, coffee and the wide selection of meals in kids’ menu King Jr meals.
Brand history
Keith Kramer and Matthew Burns opened a restaurant called Insta-Burger in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1953. While it was expanding on a franchise basis, and the entire chain of restaurants was purchased by James McLamore and David Edgerton in 1959 who renamed it as Burger King. By 1963, it had more than 250 restaurants including foreign locations. In 1967, the ownership of the chain once again changed and this time it was bought by Pillsbury. The new management focused on setting up standards for the restaurants and even revamped and expanded the menu. As Pillsbury grew in strength over the years, Burger King also rose to new prominence with more restaurants, revamped menu, and greater popularity.
Overall verdict
The exhaustive Burger King’s menu features a great number of delectable burgers, salads, sandwiches, and other dishes and beverages. Besides being delicious priced, Burger King prices are reasonable. The specialty of the chain, however, is its range of burgers. The brand has been around for more than 50 years and its products enjoy a great deal of love and trust from its fans.
